If so, then we're not 'bad' when we err, we just need more practice aiming. And maybe life is all about adjusting our aim, til we can hit the bullseye every time like Jesus.

I think it's a great way of thinking about sin. Even the best archers in the world - the ones who win Olympic medals and the like - can't hit the bullseye every time. We shouldn't worry about adjusting our aim until we are perfect, because Christ was sinless and was sacrificed for our sake.

No, I was not aware and thanks for the info! I agree with you about erring and adjusting your aim, but I don't agree with you about Jesus because I believe he didn't exist.
