There are two parties here:

the dumpor: the one who causes the break up

and

the dumpee: the one who is dumped.

If the dumpor is female, she will crawl back unless in her "rebounding fling" winds up pregnant. Often times, the female dumpor, if the male dumpee really loved her badly, will crawl back to the dumpee out of guilt.

If the the dumpor is male, usually the dumpee will try to cry like a swan to sway his feelings.

Because most dumpors are females, I'd say that the dumpor is more often than not, the one who will crawl back.

It really depends on the two people you're tlaking about. If the one left behind was clingy and needy it's not likely that the one that ditched would come back. Girls, in a lot of situations can't take the stab at their confidence so they either don't get dumped or find a way to make the person that dumped them crazy in love with them again. I guess I'm saying it really depends.

The one who didn't get to choose to break up is more likely to crawl back because they were caught off guard and are more likely to be unaccepting of the situation. Especially if the one being dumped is being dumped for a good reason, for instance neglect, abuse or infidelity or something horrible and they are sorry for it- they are the ones who are more likely to crawl back.

It would be a bit difficult to crawl back unless you left in the first place. The one who was dumped may accept them back or even ask them to come back. But it has to be the one who left that comes back, crawling or not.

I would say the one who got left behind or dumped. People have a hard time accepting/understanding rejection. So they come back to try and fix what they think went wrong!! But it could always swing both ways!!

The one who breaks up will crawl back. That person has more control the the one who let themselves get dumped, and that control will be able to get them back to you if they think they belong with you.

The one who got dumped. The ones who leave have usually found a new box of matches to play with.

According to the questions asked here. The one who got left is likely to take the same guy back again and again. Wouldn't say they were crawling back so much, as taking advantage of the situation.

So I'd say the one that got left.
