A journalist. What classes should I take for journalist and what college classes should i take?

I'm in community college. I am locked into a degree program for Mass Communications with a field study of Journalism. I am taking a lot of writing classes and four separate Journalism classes. You will also have to take your basics. Get with an advisor at the college you plan on attending and they will be able to tell you exactly what is required to graduate with a degree in Journalism. Getting a job as a journalist will depend on the quality of your writing, not any classes that you take, so take writing classes and get as much practice writing as you can. Look for chances to write for the college newspaper and other publications, even if there's no pay. You want the experience and the clips.

u should take history and english classes focus on those 2 and ur school might offer electives good for that field like journalism, (duh) economics, psychology, art history..........
