Because, dear one, we are all creatures of God,dess, and we all have a piece of divinity inside ourselves. This would be your soul. I think we all need to quit arguing about faith, and actually have some. Because if we did, then we wouldn't be fighting like children. We'd be praying for peace. (or not warring at all.)
Religion is only a joke if you choose to make it one. Maybe you are in need of inspiration? Maybe you are at a point in your life where you feel as though you don't need Spirit. I spent 7 years Atheist, and those 7 years taught me a lot. If there is no God, then surely there is no Satan, and you are free to live on your own terms. And maybe that suits you. You'll get what you need from life. When the day comes that you are tired of living without a light, the light will be presented to you. You must realize that you turned your face first. The bad things that happen occur to test your inner strength, not because God doesn't love you. And I promise, that even as you question the existence of Divinity, that she is right there, whether or not you choose to accept it.
I hope to have helped.
Blessed Be.

There are many major religions in the world, such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Judaism, and so on. Within each major religion there can also be many minor religions. For example, within Christianity there is Catholic, Protestant, Anglican and so on. Within Islam there is Shiite, Sunni etc.

In summary there are many hundreds of different religions in the world all with their devoted believers and followers. Talk to any devout religious person and they will almost emphatically insist that their religion is the right one, it’s fact, and any non-believer is doomed.

Commonsense and logic would suggest that if there was any truthful or factual basis to religion, then only one of these religions could be correct, not all of them. However, in my view, it’s highly unlikely that any of these man-made religions bear any resemblance to fact or the truth, and are more likely to be the result of simplistic human intelligence looking for an escape from reality.

Religion is a big part of some peoples lives. As we all know centuries ago wars were fought in the name of religion and they still are.

I'm not religious but I respect a person's right to have their beliefs.....that's supposed to be what this country is all about.

Religion is a curse upon the earth. It divides humanity and causes much violence and conflict. It is the 21st century and we are still worshipping gods and stuff. It is mass insanity.
