Why on earth should people quit science? is that really what Christians think God really wants?

in Islam we are ordered to read, learn & study every little peice of creation in the whole wide world.

here's another thought : why not embrace science & see what true realigion it leads u too?

read what this man of science said:

Why did I Embrace Islam?
This is an extract from Dr. Gronier, a French MP, who embraced Islam. Revealing the reason of embracing Islam he said, I read all of the Ayat (Quranic verses), which have a relation to medical, health, and natural sciences that I studied before and have a wide knowledge of. I found that these verses are totally compatible with and give a picture of our modern sciences. Thus, I embraced Islam as it was obvious that Muhammad revealed the Absolute Truth more than a thousand years ago. Had every specialist, artist or scientist compared those Quranic verses to his own specialization, beyond the shadow of doubt he would embrace Islam, especially if he has a sound mentality and goodwill to search for the truth and not a mentally defective person with the intentions of malevolent aims.

Well , America is a great place because it incorporates people from all different back grounds and beliefs. The bible does have many things to say that are very wise and I respect the bible. However I believe that America would be a better place if everybody would agree to disagree and live and let live.

The mysteries of life and the universe are not explained well in the bible, thus the need for science

i disagree personaly

The bible is dead, and unchanging and many protestants seem to worship it, thusly worshiping a dead GOD.

Science can easily supplement the bible, and on top of that it improves our lives. You probably drove today, and obviously you put your question online using science.

So science is good, as is the bible. I just don't agree with following only one, or the other, nor do I agree with worshipping either.

PEACE AND LOVE GO WITH YOU!

Yes! And let's shut down the internet that evil science created as well.

We wouldn't want to be anti-science and also benefit from the products of science. We'd be hypocrites!

;)

no! hahahaha. i can see it now. burned and stoned carcasses litter the streets. muslims are rounded up and executed by rifles that have been blessed and bullets with crosses on them.

children who rebel are killed instantly, womens rights are abolished and are declared property of the husband. those who are unmarried are property of the state.

prisons are filled with degenerates, free thinkers and anyone with a dissenting opinion. education is nothing more that a brainwshing center where no questions are asked and everything is accepted as truth.

hahahahahaha...better wit hthe bible.....right.

no, that would just rid america of freedom of religion, we would all go back to discriminating anyone who didnt share the majority beliefs, we would be ruled by a theocracy. and the end of science would also mean the end of scientists, there goes my future of becoming a zoologist.
