I was at a training session for work recently and this really eerie thing happend. As I was talking to a girl there, I began to realize that she was the girl version of me. Her language, tone, tempo, temperment, attitude, sense of humor, etc. were all very similar to my own. She even looked like she coulda been related to me. (But, she definitely wasn't.) I wasn't sure what to feel. I was more intrigued than attracted. But, funny enough I was also kinda uninterested.

How would you feel if you met the guy/ girl version of you? Do you think you would get have fun together or be unstimulated by their company?

My wife and I are best friends with another couple, have been for almost 20 years.

One reason the four of us get along so well is that his wife and I are similar in temperament and personality, and my wife and he are also similar. In particular, I'm the fussy, organized, picky, slightly snippy (and I can hear my wife saying "SLIGHTLY????" in an outraged voice :-), hyper-organized one. My wife is much more laid back, sloppy, yeah-sure-whatever, casual, works-for-me type.

For the four of us, things are great because while I love my friend's wife dearly, I have NO interest in sleeping with her because we'd KILL each other after about, oh, forty minutes. It just would NOT work, and I think we both know it. We're too much alike. But that's why the four of us get along so well as friends, not only because we know we're not going to screw around with each other's spouses, but also because we're sort of like two complementary Odd Couples. We all remind ourselves of each other... if that makes any sense. :-)

More to the point of your question, we also see that the couples really work the way they are, with the opposites paired up -- the organized one makes sure the bills are all paid (I've got my automatic bill-paying software programmed to pay everything through the end of next month, with placeholder entries for Groceries, Dining Out, and Sundries set up every week as automatic transactions in Quicken) and the like; the laid-back member of the couple is easygoing about trying new things, not to mention the critical task of chilling out and relaxing (and oh, boy, does my wife know how to relax ME!)

And we're great team-mates and work partners in volunteer/hobby projects because we "restore balance to the Force" when we work together. For example, my laid-back friend has no fear when it comes to starting a project on one of our cars, just diving in and taking a torch or a drill and doing whatever is necessary (that's our main shared interest, we mess around with old sports cars and modern rally cars, like the one in my avatar pic). Then I'm the one who will always take the last three minutes to make sure all the bolts are torqued down EXACTLY to spec or the seams on the new convertible top line up just SO.

Even though i going to feel horrible if i ever see a female version of me. I am a bossy and over powering type of person. And a girl like me will be a major disaster.
But for some reason a part of me feels that if the girl is like me, she will understand me better and even i can understand her better. In that way, i guess that will be a great relation.
Only one idiot can understand another.
Hey dude, all the best with ur relation.

nicely think of of it this way, in case you grew up with somebody and you have been perfect buddies with them for especially a lot all your life and close with a similar buddies and taken care of their mum and dad as your guy or woman does not you choose to stay with them if every person else on your life exceeded directly to the entire beyond? If every person in my life died i does not decide to stay with a these days made pal or be a burden on any of my different buddies, i'd decide to stay with the kinfolk this is been around for my entire life and that is familiar with me and is familiar with what i circulate with the aid of. She probably stayed with the mum as a results of fact she knew you does not like her staying at yours so she's for sure respecting your barriers. i think of this is variety of selfish and the're the two respecting your desires so i do no longer understand why your taking it so no longer situation-free. you're probably pushing him away and closer to her along with your jealousy. If he chosen to marry you over her then for sure he loves you and you will have faith him. incredibly it fairly is a have faith situation, and in case you fairly enjoyed him and married him, you should be waiting to have self belief him whilst he says she's like his sister. supply the female some slack, she lost her mom, brother, husband, and now her perfect buddies spouse is attempting tell her they cant spend time at the same time. That would desire to be like so depressing and that i dont think of you're totally undrstanding what she's dealing with. a minimum of enable her spend time with the kinfolk she grew up with, you have no longer have been given the nicely suited to tell them they are in a position to't spend a lot time at the same time. i think of you should in simple terms supply them time at the same time now till she gets decrease back on her ft after which you will all do stuff at the same time each so often and enable them to havetime at the same time occaionally too? sturdy success
