Clarification, I mean to ask, is it more accurate to refer to "GOD" as just a figment of the collective imagination of a lot of mankind, (Idea) or is it more accurately refered to as a theory based on some sort of empirical data 9 even if this emprical data was only "Revealed" to a select few..

Where are God and Satin?

I believe in Dimensions. Do you know anything about them?

First Dimension.
An object can only move forward or backward in a straight line.

Second Dimension
An object can move forward, backward right and left.

Third Dimension
An object can move forward, backward, right, left, up and down.
THIS IS WHERE WE ARE

Fourth Dimension
An object can move forward, backward, right, left, up, down and through other objects.

Fifth Dimension
Object does not move anywhere because it is already everywhere.

These Dimensions are all in the same space but can not see the other dimensions around them.
I think you get the idea so I wouldn't go any further with this.

In the Bible the 7th Heaven is mentioned which is where I think God is. As you can tell by the progression of the dimensions, He is in a place that our minds can not even comprehend and he can move through all the dimensions.

It is MY belief that Satin is in one dimension below God. He is very powerful but God will prevail when the time is right. We know from the Bible that Satin is allowed to come before God where he points out to God the mistakes we make. God allows Satin to do many things to us except he can take anyone's life.

Of course now the question is why does God allow Satin to do do bad things to us and the earth. Well, that is another story, so you will need to study the Bible to learn the answers.

The Theory of God

2006-08-03 11:51:24 · answer #3 · answered by ♥Nina♥ 3 · 0 0

"The one and only God" is the most accurate way of answering this question. The proof is here and the need to be with God is here. Have you ever looked at a painting? I'm sure you have. Now when you look at a painting you know there is a painter. You don't need to hear him, talk to him, see him, smell him, meet him, etc. You know there is a painter by looking at a painting. The painting provides 100% proof for a painting. Same way with creation. We see creation all around us and only a fool would say there is no creator or demand to see a creator before accepting that there is one. Have you ever told a lie before? I'm sure you have. Telling a lie makes you a liar and liars deserve to go to hell. We need God's forgiveness.

Theory of God

2006-08-03 11:51:01 · answer #5 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

The Idea of God- because whether or not He exists, human beings do have Him as an idea. He has no place in the process of science so He cannot be a theory.

No. A concept is the comparable as having a perception; as even the strangest ideals could be examined. you are the only one which would be advantageous your guy or woman faith. faith is having the flexibility to deliver the hopes interior you into existence. Heb.11.l. Now faith is the substance of issues was hoping for, the data of issues not considered. (See faith can not be proved like a concept because of the fact it deals with genuine existence and not those issues which bypass away or die.). technology nevertheless does not comprehend what existence is even nevertheless they are finding for it someplace else as though that would desire to instruct something. faith and perception are 2 countless issues. One happens interior the top and the different is a controversy of spirit or coronary heart. to assert that one desires faith to have faith is redundant. Heb. 11:6, is perception, 11:a million is faith. yet in any different case to think of of it quite is that faith is a revelation. An atheist has no revelation.

God was created by man in order to cushion his fear of the unknown, that being the great mystery of death. The idea that the bible is the word of God is insulting. The bible is hearsay written by man more than 3 centuries after the alleged events took place. How accurate can it be?

Idea suggests it's abstract, theory suggests a work in progress. Hmmmm.....
I'd say 'drug induced hallucination of god' or perhaps, 'misinformed scared little child clinging to the hand of an imaginary friend called god' is even more accurate.

It would be the "idea" of God, as it has yet to be proven that God is real to the five senses of a human being. We think of and worship God based on "belief" which is defined as:

"... a conviction to the truth of a proposition without its verification, therefore it is a subjective mental interpretation of the perception results, own contemplation/reasoning or communication."

And because you "believe" in God, it is based on your mental interpretation ... your "idea" of what is real and true.

Final answer: idea.
