Yes, last month. It is medical procedure that involves inserting a wire mesh into the uterus and heating away the endometrium. Without the endometrium, you (should) no longer have periods. Not all women benefit from it, but a huge majority (85%) will have far less menstrual flow afterwards. For me, one cycle has come and gone with nothing to show for it!! Cramping, about 3-4 weeks discharge follows the procedure (done, in my case, in the hospital under general anesthesia), but it sure is worth it!!

it is a procedure where the lining of the uterus is basically cauterized. It can be done under spinal or general anesthesia. After the procedure you will no longer have a period once a month. Some people do still spot at times. It's painless, usually. Some cramping can be expected. It is used to treat dysfunctional uterine bleeding. It's much less painful and invasive than any other treatment available presently.

I had mine Mary 3rd with very mild cramps for a few hours afterwards. There was spotting for about 7 weeks and NO period!! What a life changing experience this has been for me. I'm 47. It's one of the best things I've done in years! Good luck!

Had it done 4 days ago. Have it done under general anesthesia outpatient. Only very minor cramping for a few hours. Keeping my fingers crossed for the period removal I am hoping for.
