hard to go high at the top of my range with the vowel ee ..even sometimes hurt my vocal cords hoarse voice I get.. hard to keep singing ..& I have to rest my voice for one day to sing again..and I noticed every time I did this like there is backfire on my cords..thx

Your vocal chords should never hurt when you sing. Make sure you're fully supporting yourself when you sing those notes. When you sing the EE make sure that you send the air into your nose. It may seem nasal, but it sounds much better.

Also with EE you don't want to spread your lips horizontally.

Speak with a voice teacher.
They can teach you how to produce the sound with more support so that you don't strain your voice.
They can also teach you what vowels you can sing more dependably, so that you don't have this problem in the future. For example, you can cheat an "ee" into the "ay" range, dropping the jaw more, and it's easier to produce.

I very strongly advise you to have your vocal cords seen by a doctor.

I too was a singer and would get hoarseness. It turned out to be cancer. Please do not wait.
