I think that depends so much on the person, their reasons for cheating in the first place, and who they have grown to be.
I'd be dishonest if I said good people don't cheat. People make mistakes, sure...but more than one marriage (relationship) has survived infidelity.
I think the deeper issues is - "Once your trust has been betrayed, can you trust again?"

Not always, must usually. even if the cheater says they wont or dont do it again, it will always be in the back of there head if they get that second chance, because they got away with it already, why not do it again?... Yet some people learn, and only did that in the first place because they felt insecure or had problems go on. People can change, a cheater jsut takes longer.

No i don't. I think ppl can change. But it takes a cheater 3 times longer to prove that they can. Which is why U shouldn't cheat, UR just screwing ur self in the end.

Nope. Depends on each situation. Cheaters cheat for so many different reasons, you cant make that blatant statement. Most of the time its because they are not happy. Women and men. For men, the woman he cheats with doesn't make him happy, the act does. . . for women the act is fulfilling, but the person they cheat with is more important than the act. So which act is worst.

No not really. I only cheated a few times on my husband before we got married (mainly because he was locked up) after he was out I never cheated again. (right now we're seperated and supposed to be getting divorced) And the guy I'm seeing now I won't cheat on.

he may not do it again but does mean he has the potential if he has tried it before. he's more like a cheater in remission

Yes, unless someone who doesn't overdrink goofs up once and loses control. If you have to ask if someone is 100% there for you, they're not.

The answer lies within the victim. If they want to believe that, they will. If they want to give it another chance, then they don't. Personally, I believe everyone deserves a second chance, so I don't believe it.
