For those who are so anti-illegals. We needed some yard work done and stopped at a small strip mall at place where it said workers available.It had been there about 3 months. The price we were quoted was $19.00 an hour. we really needed some one. We saw several Hispanics there, but the man that came to our home was Caucasian.

Got to talking and he explained that of the $19.00 dollars, he got $7.20. But the Hispanics really got scr*wed, they got $5.25. It seems they were afraid to squawk about it. We discussed turning employers in, but the next day they were gone. They won't be picking grapes anymore. They will be temps and move around.

This goes on all the time. La Migras won't be harvesting the great agricultural valleys of California as they have for so many years. It is hot backing breaking work, I don't think many whites could even cut the mustard.

In case you misunderstood , the employees got $5.50 to 7.20 an hour, the American keeps the rest. When you see an illegal working at a $20.00 an hour job, you better believe he is pocketing under $10. Graft is rampant and Greed Rules!

7.25 an hour , you would go in dept in the state of Ca. , I was born in Kern County Ca. in 1957 , they will do work that whites will not do (not enough money) , I say go on out there and try it , I worked on a farm (S.A.Camp Farms) I enjoyed working with Mexicans , they are a good culture and hard working ! I have been asked by many to go to old Mexico ( Pompos , Baltamore , Santos , Tutos ) pay them more money !

I've worked worse jobs than that..
When the economy is not great, citizens will be forced to choose. Either work those types of jobs and struggle, or give up and don't work at all. I think plenty would do that type of work..
