Don't laugh...I'm going to serve it with roasted red potatoes. Any other brilliant ideas for side dishes? Maybe green beans, salad and fresh french bread??

Green beans would be great, maybe even green bean casserole.
You are right on the money with a salad and french bread also.
Congratulations!!!!!!

Definitely sounds very good - in fact, now I'm hungry. Time to go figure out what's for dinner.

If you don't want to do green beans, than maybe asparagus or broccoli or carrots. Also, don't forget the bottle of wine - my suggested is R.H. Phillips Toasted Head Chardonnay - and something for dessert.

That sounds really good for dinner.
So what you're trying to do is by yourself a proposal? When he sees what a good cook you are, he'll not be able to resist?
Might work.

Depending on how long the two of you have been together, whether you want to wait around, but he'll ask you when he's ready.
