people say Israel is the most powerful nation in the middle east....but the edge Israel had that pushed it through the six-day war and yom-kippur war was US aid... how powerful would Israel be without it?...I think without US support Israel would get worn down and unable to push others around I agree Israel has a right to defend itself but its been conducting alot of offensive actions

I'd like to see that .. never happen though the Israeli lobby in the US is very powerful and there would not be a politician in your country with the balls to withdraw support for Israel,, imagine the outcry,, just look what happened to Mel Gibson for drunkenly stating his opinion,, your politicians would be crucified (oops) although if it ever did happen (withdrawal of support) Israel would have to source its own weaponry and in the mean time would be crushed .
