What do I do if a guy likes me but I don't like him the same way, I still want to be his friend though.?

Talk about being crushed to death, by a smile and a statement.
However, that's how you feel, and as hard as it will be for him to hear it, it's a necessary evil.
Just letting him go on, thinking there is a chance, is even worse.
So best to tell him, as soon as possible. He may accept the friend part, but don't count on it. It would tear him up, thinking or seeing you, with some boyfriend.
You might want to be his friend, but I don't think he will.

be honest and tell him out right the following phrase:
"I really like you, but as just a friend" or "I think of you like your my brother"
whichever you choose or if you pick a phrase in your own words he will be crushed but he will get the message. and remember to add the fact you want to remain friends with him if that is what you want to happen.
James B is right if he is interested romanticaly he will still be hoping oif sleeping with you one day. but remember to be firm with him, tell him what you want. and remeber that nothing is set in stone so if one day you change your mind you can and you can tell him that you have thought about the relationship and (should the day arise) you want to take friendship to lovers.
i know now you say you do not want to be lovers, that is your choice.

if you found out he likes you, then he must of really liked you, and if you say no most dudes will want to stay friends, and will probably still go on liking you, just not as much, or maybe even more. and don't ever start acting like you like him even if you don't, because you will drive him crazy with uncertainty.
