Maybe illegals are hard workers but do they destroy your city or town?

In a matter of six or seven years the illegals have flooded our jails, trashed our town with homemade signs on their store fronts and buisiness's, opened flea markets in the middle of town, their bars are setting records for police calls to the point that our town had to use the nuisance law to try and rid our community of the crime. They have pretty much took over our downtown after 10:00pm because the cops have been informed to not "impead unless a "real" crime has been commited. I grew up here and can tell you that we didn't get away with a small amount of what the illegals are getting awy with. The cops I know told me of the politics and some have even quit because of the bull$hit!

our city council of 60000 are complete dumb A$$'s like many to the fact of what hispanic growth can do until it is too late! They are fighting a problem now that they just now realize! Kinda like our country...DEPORT NOW!

There's an awful lot of denial in here....You are right. You can always tell where there are a lot of illegals. They make it look like a trash dump wherever they happen to live. This is the town where Andy Griffith was born, for Pete's sake! This used to be a good little town, a town with very low crime. It used to be a good town to raise children. Since the illegals have ruined it, it's not that way anymore. There are more auto accidents and deaths caused by them on the road and of course they NEVER have car insurance or a license. There is more crime in general. The schools are over populated, because of them and the fact that they have no concept whatsoever of birth control. To put it in a nutshell, the quality of life has plummeted.

I dont see them destroying my town, or any other town, city in america. The only thing I see destroying towns is outsourcing to other countrys by corporations. What you think is from the illegals is in fact not. Remember be patriotic, be afraid!! Its just the fear factor that the republicans use to blind you from what the corporations are actually doing. flear markets and home made signs have been around for centurys, find something else petty to complain about, try gay marriage LMAO.

I hate to break it to you, but "illegals" aren't opening storefronts and bars. Those types of "real" businesses require permits and licenses, plus tax information. No one here illegally is going to attempt to secure that sort of documentation for fear of being caught.

As to what is by your description, a heavily hispanic population, your city council has the ability to establish laws and zone areas to permit, or not permit certain types of businesses in any area.

Things like a flea market can be zoned out.

It does sound like your city officials aren't doing their job so maybe you should become politically active and vote them out in favor of those who will restore your city to a safe environment.

You can't complain if you aren't willing to step up and do something about it.

Just keep in mind that not all Mexicans are illegal, and not all illegals are criminals. There's good and bad in all nationalities.

What part of town do you live?? I live in an area that is 75% Hispanic and our town in nothing like you described, we have the things you have mentioned; flea markets, tiendas, but they are nicely kept and alot of the white people in our community use their grocery stores. The crime in our area isn't caused by illegals, but by our very own people.

Yes, this happened to my brother's neighborhood in Glendale,Az. What was once a classy, upscale neighborhood,turned into an ILLEGAL trashdump!!!!!!!!!!! There were break-ins, drive-by shootings, drug dealing, graffiti, 20 illegals to a house,etc. It got so BAD, that he sold his house (which he'd lived in for over thirty years) and moved out of state!!!!!!!!!!

yes i am seeing the same kind of things in my town. my sister's illegal boyfriend has over 20 tickets now you or i try that and see what happens to us ! and some of my town is unrecognizable.

really? it's been the same for me... nothing's changed.. actually, more crime is commited by africam american and caucasian folk where I live in. Pretty sure they're legal
