1) Beach, perhaps go to Malibu or Santa Monica is nice....While is Santa Monica, (wear sunscreen!) and go to the pier, and 3rd Street Promenade at night! Fun!

2) Getty Museum! It's like $7 to park, and free admission! Amazing grounds, and amazing art!

3) Drive through Hollywood. Check out the new pavillion, near the El Capitan....can't miss it. Good shopping, etc.

4) See a taping of a show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, or The Tonight Show, or ???

5) Drive around Palos Verdes Peninsula! Really pretty drive, and lots of great spots to stop and take a look......

So much more, but that should get you started!

If you don't rent a van, buy the subway pass and you can go to lots of places. (about $3 day pass). It's better if you have a minivan.

Walk around Hollywood. Look at handprints of movie stars.

Go to Chinatown for some dimsum at Empress Pavilion. Afterwards, you must have some boba drinks while you sightsee.

Visit Universal City Walk. It's outdoor shopping with movie theater and restaurants. $ for parking.

Walk/shop around Santa Monica Promenade.

Go to the Griffith Park Observatory and take a short hike to view the Hollywood sign. On an un-smogged day, you can see the ocean.
