For every guy there's a girl (there are many, but I mean a special girl) and for every girl there's a guy (same phrase). Don't worry get out there, look around. Look for the most crowded areas and hang around, look clean and have good self-esteem. Some special girl will come around. Look for a girl making eye contact with you, not in a scared kind of look, just a glance here or there. Once your eyes have made contact with someone wait a day or two and go back there same place same time and look again. If she's there and glances, approach her next. Not directly, but discreetly. Look for a chance if she drops something or stubble's,etc to help out and make conversation. But most important of all, be patient, don't rush it, or she'll run. Try it !

Okay, you are going to hate this answer, but I believe it so I'm putting it out here. You have to learn how to be happy alone before you can be happy in a relationship. Leave yourself open for love, but don't go looking for it too hard. Watch Under the Tuscan Sun. It had a great way of expression this idea.

I sympathize but the internet is not the place to look. Join a group that has the same interests as you, or take a class and then you know that you have something in common right off the bat. The more desperate you act, the less likely it will come true, but if you become content with yourself, good things will naturally follow. :)

May I suggest hanging out in places where the likelyhood of meeting women is high. Try a coffee shop or any kind of group that meets weekly similar to your needs and what you enjoy. Your bound to meet somebody eventually. Ignore the nasty comments your getting in here, if people are not open minded and willing to help, that's they're problem.

Desperation is bad. Learn to enjoy life without a girlfriend, then a girlfriend will come, no pun intended.
Women like happy men, not desperate men.

you don't excatly need a girlfriend 2 feel comforable n wanted. if u're lonely n all dat u're really jus gon take wat evea girl dat comes yo way regardless of how she she personal so u're basically desparte. no its okay its only natural. but u don't really need a girlfriend 2 keep u company. if u got guy friends den go out with den have fun act krazy n stuff like dat 2 take yo mind off it.
But if u'll really interested in seekin a girlfriend den grad some of yo guys go 2 da mall or da beach n play it kool n holla at some of da girls n ask dem out. or u can always meet girls at a movie store(hollywood, blockbusters) gettin ready 2 rent movies fa da nite n u can ask if u can join her or if she will like 2 join u.u'll be fine okay it jus takes time. good luck!!!!!!!

Aren't you just impatient!!!! Everything comes with time. You sound really needy and girls don't like that. You'd have better luck if you changed some. Girls don't like guys who are needy like you apparently seem to sound like. That probablly explains why you're alone.

If you just broke up with someone I think you're feeling just a bit lonely right now. You should try being by yourself for a little while.
