Right now my family and are are trying to barbeque some really thin thawed out burgers. the problem is they keeep falling apat. I know on stoves you can add egg, but that would not work here. Does any have some quick hints or tricks pleasE?

Do you have one of those basket thingies where you can put them in, close the basket, etc. They work great.

Cook them frozen, and try spreading some oil on the grill before cooking to keep them from sticking. Additionaly, only flip once. Don't compress the burgers while cooking or you'll force out all the juice that gives the burgers their flavour.

Boy the only thing I can think of is to put all the raw meat in a bowl, add an egg or two and reform the patties, then cook. Other than that, use lg spatula and be careful.

Yes try sprinkling some corn flakes or bread crumbs to hold the shape of the burger. You can try using chopped garlic too.

I would brush the hamburgers with egg whites and pat them in either cracker or bread crumbs and some seasonings, onions
to enhance flavor. Enjoy your burgers.

well that's your problem right there, they are frozen. Make them fresh a little worcestershire sauce, teriyaki and salt and pepper. And form with your hands. Mine never fall apart and people rave!

What the hell are you putting an egg in there for?

mash them all together and make new burgers, squeeze out some of the moisture from freezing and replace with worchestishire sauce

How about a small piece of aluminum foil under each with some fork holes poked in it...?

Should have cooked them frozen........only flip once.
