Yes, I'm all for it and the sooner the better. Everything is far too easy for them these days, and a kick up the a**e is what they really need not a nanny state.

Bringing back some form of national service is a good idea!!
BUT!!
It would all depend though on how well it was run: how it was done: by whom i.e. Military or Civil: & the training & support involved!!
The last things we need are fit & health, well trained, weapons educated, 'THUGS': roaming our streets after their 2/3 years of service is finished!!
Some form of 'Vocational' study would need to be implemented: as well as education about respect for authority, law, self, & others: common decency: & honesty, etc, etc, etc!!
So these lads (& Lasses?) come back into the community as well balanced, & valued members of society: with a value & a purpose in life!! If not: then it will just be money and time: WASTED!!

I am an American but having a British husband I watch BBC America all the time and I liked the Bad Lads Army show. I think that would do a lot of good for our youth also. Good idea!

I haven't watched it but I know too many people who I want to go on the Brat Camp programme. My brother got beat up by them! But really it's down to the parents, and discipline should not have to be introduced but just reinforced at schools.
Hooligans give teenagers a bad name and I'm sick of being looked at like I'm dangerous when I'm extremely charitable and respectful.
Brat Camp would do them the world of good - straighten them out for the better (and keep them out of my hair!).

A lot of them would act worse just to get on t.v.
The t.v program would become a goal much like ASBO's are now
Re-introduce national service that way some of them would come out more mature & have an idea of what to do in life ie; mechanics, the army etc

They are hooligans etc in most cases becos they are bored and most probably not in work and in a stable family lifestyle.. I do belive that National Service or something similar would benefit many youths of today... the forces gives you confidence independance, communicative skills, and comradeship. and so much more

most definately!!! some of the wicked wee s**tes near me need bad lads army!!! they wud go as hooligans and come back as kittens and then i wud rub theitr nose in all the bad stuff they hav don 2 me and kids!!! they nasty and it shud be law that if they behave so bad, they shud face the bad lads army guys!!!!!

Reintroduce National Service for a few weeks for all teenagers and that would sort them out

no, they should be shot. n the whole of britian would be thinking the same if they were all 15 y o lads whos not like them so they beat me up!!!!!! i would have hit back if i didnt fear a knife getting involved
