after the age of 6 months it's basicly impossible to tell.

Young birds have black bars all the way to their cere ( coloured bit on the beak) and black eyes. The cere colour will be pink and smooth for a male and blue, white, a mix of both or even palish pinkw ith white rings around the nares. These will change at the first moult which noramlly starts around the age of three months, but if the bird is a single bird this can take longer. Then the cere will be blue for male and brownish for female. The eyes will gain an iris ring for most mutations. Once a bird is like this it's hard to tell.

If your bird has a ring on his/her leg that will tell the age for you. some will have the year stamped into it ( last two numbers) or if not the colour will give the year according to what your area society uses. I think this year is gold in my area.

..you can't tell the exact age, but if the eyes are completely black, it's a juvenile, and if it's ringed with white, it's an adult.
