You can report your neighbor to the DEA if they traffic in drugs and get a hefty reward. If your employer is evading taxes, you can report them to the IRS and get some quick dough. So the government encourages you to snitch on your fellow citizens... why not the freeloaders taking up American resources who don't belong here ?

Why can't you tell the INS about that Mexican mowing the yard next door and get some cash ? Offer a reward of $100 for each illegal successfully reported and deported and there'd be no immigration problem. Hell, I could go to Wal Mart the first weekend in January and bag enough Mexicans to take the rest of the year off and live a very comfortable life.

Oh hell yeah!!! What a great idea, I would love to see this happen and I am sure I would be living quite large as well. In NJ we are flooded with ILLEGALS, they are everywhere. I could get a work truck and scoop them up by the dozens.

For starters, illegals are NOT freeloaders. They get taxes and Social Security withheld from their paychecks (or, in case they get paid under the table, from their employer's income), but they do not collect from Social Security. So you should be thankful; the illegals, unlike the U.S. government, are actively working on resolving the Social Security crisis for you.

Second, if you report your gardeners today, who is going to cut your grass next week and how much is it going to cost you?

Third, if you still want to report an illegal immigrant, you can do it. The INS (or, USCIS, as it is now called) has phone numbers. However, contrary to popular opinion, illegal immigration is not a crime. It's a misdemeanor, just like speeding or drinking in public. It is estimated that about one of 42 acts of speeding is actually punished. Why should illegal immigration be different? No one offers $100 for reporting speeders, and if they did, no one would be left to prosecute actual crimes; the police would be tied up in "the war on speeding"...

But why stop at only Mexicans, all Hispanics and all races that are here illegally, lets not pick and choose. We must remember that the United States of America is the land of immigrants up to certain point, remember the Native Americans? I mean all of them.

It's time to let the politicians know you will not vote for them regardless of party if they don't truly change things. send them e-mails and letters, then only vote for people who will up hold the laws. not just on the fed level, even the state and local. if they think there jobs will be at risk they will finally do something about this problem.

In my area the cops acted like I was a horrible criminal for pointing out to them that some one they just arrested was an illegal, they released him the next day and he never even showed up for his court date. drunk bastard totaled my friends car by not knowing what the hell a red light was.
