Yes it is, it is also possible for both parents with dark brown hair to give birth to a child with blond hair. Take a look at your ENTIRE family. Go back through your family history. I'll bet somewhere along the line there was someone with the gene for blue grey eyes and that was passed on to your child. My ex has very dark brown eyes. I have green hazel eyes. Our daughter has dark grey eyes, and there is absolutely no mistaking her for either my child or his...she looks like the both of us. Maybe you should concentrate on loving the child rather than trying to find out if the child's mother cheated on you. In otherwords grow up.

Yes basic genetics...

you have dominat and resessive genes

Mostly one of the dominant ones wins ie you have green and blue green is resessive.

You therefore have blue eyes

The other has green and brown again green is ressessive...

Therefore he/se has brown eyes...

Now if the sperm eggs have either blue or brown genes the kid will have either which ever is dominant.

But if both had the mix of green eyes then the baby will have green eyes

even though both parents did not...

Something like that in your equiv of Junior high genetics

So you may both be the parents or there could be a diff dad...

Its ambiguous...not proof she had an affair

Consider your self lucky...

It could have been a genetic illness or real flaw not eye colour...

The closer the gene match the more likly the recessive flaws come out...

Thats why sisters and brothers aint supposed to marry

if both

Yes, it's possible, but why do you care?
That is the stupidest thing ever!
Will you love your child less if he or she has brown eyes?
Color is NOT what makes the eyes beautiful, and it's very shallow for somebody to hope for their child to have a specific eye color.
I've seen some of the ugliest blue eyes, and some of the prettiest brown eyes.
It's the expression, not the color.

Yes absolutely, my husband and I have 4 kids, the boys are all blond haired and blue eyed, my daughter had brown hair and brown eyes. We get asked all the time if they have the same father (he has hazel eyes, brown hair and I have red hair and green eyes) She looks just like her great aunt on my husbands side. Genetics is a crazy thing.

Yes. There are probably other relations with grey-blue eyes. A child`s eyes doesnt just depend on its mum and dad.

strictly speaking yes if either of your or your wifes parents had blue eyes. I suspect you may suspect the child is not yours and this could harm the relationship so get a paternity test to put your mind at rest (1 in 10 fathers are raising a child thats not theirs in blissful ignorance)

well if the baby is newborn it is likely that the eyes will change color as the baby gets older. babies eyes dont have much pigment when they are first born and as their eyes develop they gain more pigment and change color. LOTS of babies are born with grey-blue eyes. if the baby is older than one year old and they have that eye color it is still possible, one of the parents may have had the recessive blue eye color gene and passed it to the baby. take my baby for example, i have hazel eyes, my husband has green eyes, and my daughter has blue eyes, both of our moms have blue eyes, that is where she got her eyes.

Yes...both parents must have held a recessive gene for grey-blue eyes which was passed to their child.
