Theres various types but it mostly depends on your hair texture its thickness, n status all that but most likely a ceramic one is best like chi

I've had the maxi-glide straightener for a little over a year and it works really well. I've always straightened my hair and over the years have bought many flat irons, and the maxi-glide is by far the best one I've used.

I use Pantene Pro-V complete therapy conditioner. Try it, it works! You can probably get it at Target or Wal-mart.

chi- it is a ceramic iron and it is the BEST that i have used..... but be sure to use a thermal protectant spray.
