My eye doctor told me years ago that my corneas were detached at the top of my eyes, but that it wasn't a problem. Could they detach farther?

I've never had LASIK. They started detaching by themselves

I think you better see another eye doctor. I've worked for ophthalmologists and optometrists for 15 years and have never heard of this. Detached retinas, yes. Corneas, no. Did you have LASIK surgery? Even so, the flap that is created doesn't fall off. It heals rather quickly, like 3 to 4 weeks.
