High school won't matter to you in 4 years.

Just play the game, and you'll get through it.

Don't worry about it - just be yourself and don't get caught up in any bad things - alcohol and drugs - stay away from all of it. Focus on your grades and classes and join some clubs or sports you are interested in and that will help you meet the upperclassmen - I made so many friends in all the sports I played - try out even if you aren't that good - you can make a lot of friends. Be outgoing and friendly and yourself above all. Don't be influenced by others - it is not as terrifying as people make it out to be.

After high school you will regret it if you don't focus on your grades so that is most important - it is a time to form life long friendships. Don't ever feel like you are not part of the best group , etc - just be friendly and people will like you - don't let anyone bring you down!

Can be, sure. It's hard being a freshman. Just hang in there and enjoy high school. Once you're out, you can't go back and you have LOTS more life to live after high school.

Highschool sucks. But it is alittle harder your first freshmen semester. You're getting the hang of unfamiliar surroundings and unfamiliar people. Eventually you'll get the hang of things and it'll be cool. I'd suggest getting someone older you know take you through the school and showing you around about a week before school starts. That way you'll know the "lay of the land" and where all your classes are going to be, so you're not lost on the first day. Also don't take any crap from the upperclassmen. If you let them push you around at first they'll never stop.

Personally, I've very much enjoyed high school. I'm a senior this year and it is unreal how quickly time passes. Get out there, get involved, and enjoy it. High school is a great experience if you make the most of it.

Many people do have trouble with the transition from middle school to high school. Talk to your teachers and/or councilor to get the help (likely tutoring) that you need for success.

You can do it!

it seems scary at first, but it's not bad at all. im a senior this year and i can still remeber being a scared little freshman. just dont upset the upperclassmen and you'll be ok. just remeber, high school goes extremely fast and before you know it, it will be over. and don't forget to have fun!! if you need any help, i'm here and would be more than happy to talk to you and help you out.

It's meant to challenge you, make you think, learn and grow. If it wasn't hard in some way it wouldn't be of any value to you. Yes, I know, it's kinda scary, because it's "unknown". But the things you will be learning will be begin with the skills you have learned so far. You'll be fine. Just keep an open mind, and have fun.
