One is clean, goes to school and wants to make something of himself. The other wants to get high and live in a mess no matter what anyone tells him, he's been that way for years. The clean one is considering dropping out of school and working just to get away from the dirty one. We cant afford to get seperate apartments for them while they're in school and they're too young for us to say, "Whatever", by law we're still responsible. Any advice?

It's great that the clean one has a strong personality and doesn't get influenced by his brother's antics. Persuade him to not drop out of school, it'd be a shame! Help him plot out his future, guide him to choose a college etc., tell him this is only temporary and he can have his freedom once he reaches college which is not long anymore now. Make sure you protect him from his brother in the time being.... As for the dirty one, there's still a chance for him to change especially considering he's still young, so don't give up on him. Make sure they both know they can count on you no matter what.

Someone told me " I gave my good child to God and I battled it out with bad seed". It may seem like it should have been the other way around but her good son make a lot of money in the army where her bad daughter still doesn't care about anyone, even her own daughter.
Seperation is not the answer, the bad one and the clean one will take the path they are destined or choose to take.
Tell the clean one to stay strong and he can leave by going away to college.

Best advice here is to mentor the clean one and send the bad boy to a school where they reform them with a heavy hand and lots of discipline.
Eventually, you'll need some money for all of that. So a movie script about their lives is in order. YOu can do it. It will make a million if you do it right.
