This is a ligitimate question to satisfy my own curiosity. What's the incentive for women to change their hair color every so often? It's not something that even occurs to men, or none that I know anyway, so why does it appeal to you?

1 get tired of our hair color
2 want to look like someone else who has a different haircolor than us
3 want people to notice our new hair (attention)
4 change

1 and 4 are my reasons!

We either do it for self or for others, Example my sister @ one time turned her hair RED and I HATED IT, But she did it because her Husband liked it. It brought to much attention to her, My hair is Long and black/thick only straight when I get my perm And I will never add any type of color to it. I do not see the purpose. What gets me is when I see some women DARK as Charcoal and go Blond. LOL But I was told there are men who love black/blonds I do know one of my friend girls got so much attention, So maybe that's it THE ATTENTION. Hope that answers your question.

LOL, I don't know. I just get bored with my hair color. It's the same as my clothes. After awhile, I just get bored with the clothes I have, so every once in a GREAT while, I have to get something new.
I think the only thing in my life I WON'T be replacing anytime soon is my husband, lol.

Most women do not care for their natural hair color and in trying to discover the best color for their tastes they change it more than necessary. Also some women just "get addicted" to dying their hair different colors. (My friend is a self proclained dye addict)

Actually, before I started dying my hair it was frizzy and terribly curly. The special conditioners in dyes make my hair appear healthier. Every 6 months I redye my hair, just to keep it nice and regulated. Also, my hair is terribly multi-colored, I like one nice solid color. (Always around my original color though)

Well most the time it's because we don't want to seem plain and boring for you men.......so we change it up to keep you interested in us so you don't go running off to some other girl that looks better than us

because women are trying to impress guys like you so they find ways to make them self look more "beautiful." Personally I do it because I like change and I get bored of my hair colour. And once you start you cannot stop because you dont want ugly roots there until they grow out of your hair lol

Its good to be different. I don't do the outrageous colors like pink, purple, or green. I do subtle changes to my hair about every 4 weeks or so. I get bored very easily. Besides it keeps the guys on their toes.

"Honey, is your hair different?"
"Yes."
"Oh its nice."
"Do you know what's different about it?"
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......"

because you can. it's like changing your clothes, sheets or nail color. why do you wear a diffrent t- shirt everyday? Or a diffrent pair of shoes.

It adds more texture and movement, and ladies always want to look their best. Plus, change always feels good - it gives us more self-confidence.
