My puppies are a huge part of my life. They have been so fantastic during the death of my father. I met a guy who doesn't like pets. Is this a sign that perhaps I need to look elsewhere? Any thoughts?

Biggest mistake I made was giving up my dog for the guy I married. If I had paid attention to the dog...she despised him..I could have saved myself some seriously bad times.
So, keep the dogs...ditch the dude.

Not unless you want to get rid of your dogs for him later. That is one thing you two should have in common. Your pet is like a part of you now that your future mate will need to accept for you to be able to get along and maybe marry one day.

Do the dogs like him? Sometimes animals have more common sense than we do.
