That sounds like a good combination to me. If you have some chili powder it would make a pretty good "Mexican" style casserole. You can also try http://allrecipes.com You can type in which ingredients you have and it will give you receipes using those ingredients.

Hey that's not too bad: boil the water, cook the pasta, make the soup - when its ready add the beans and sweetcorn and use as a topping for the pasta, then grate your cheese on top. Enjoy and don't forget to go shopping before dinner time tomorrow! ;)

To try this great recipe, you need to do some shopping, coz these things in your cabinet are not doing it...

I've always loved oxtail and tried this recipe - OXtail Stew. Cook it, invite some close friends and they'll beg you for this recipe.

2 kg of good meaty oxtails
2 teaspoons oil
1 onion, diced
1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon ginger, chopped
3 teaspoons tomato paste (more if you like to)
2 cups beef stock
1 cubed turnip
1 cubed swede or parsnip
1 diced carrot
2 cubed potatoes

Trim the excess fat off the oxtail.

In a large pot, fry the oxtails until browned and cooked through.
Remove from pot.

Place diced ginger, onion and garlic in pot with meat juices and cook until onions are brown and soft.

Throw in dollops of tomato paste and mix well.

Return oxtails to the pot and add 1/2 cup of beef stock and keep mixing over heat.

Add all the chopped up vegetables to the meat mixture. Add remaining stock and cook until vegetables are cooked.

For a more tender meat, stew for a longer period.

You may have to add a cup or two of beef stock or water to prevent drying out.

Remember : It takes a while to tenderise meat, so make sure you don't put the vege in too early.

Cook the pasta in the usual way.
Add the rest to the soup and heat through. Add the pasta when it's done.

Yum. Not bad.
