i don't think it would as much. i think bad breath is caused by bacteria collecting on your teeth from bits of food inbetween your teeth. As you breath out the smell of this is passed out in your breath. If you ate something like garlic or onions, once the food is absorbed into the blood stream the odour passes into the lungs and then it would smell the same breathing out your nose but in the case of bacteria, the air would be passing into your nasal cavity before it passes through you teeth and so i think would not pick up as much of the smell.

It depends upon where the offensive odour originated from.
Gut, sinuses, lungs etc. The answer would be yes. Mouth cavity, tongue, bad teeth etc. Probably not.
If you are worried about having bad breath learn to breath through your ears. It helps stop you talking **** as well apparantly!!
That's what my girlfriend told me anyway.

If its caused by a sinus problem, yes. You'd need to see an ear, nose & throat specialist.
