I don't call her at all. She died a few years ago.
When she was alive, I called her about twice a month. She was the most amazing woman, one of the first to try to get into college football (considered crazy for asking), tough, yet a total lady and could very well have been a model for her time (she was VERY beautiful). She rarely got angry (twice that I saw), and was very loving and friendly. She traveled all over the world, many times, and was a member of Mensa. If she had been a Catholic, I suspect she might have been considered for sainthood. I exaggerate, but not by much. She was helpful and loving to so many people, and very wise and knoweldgeable.

She is one of my role-models. Always will be.

I love you mother. Forever.

From time to time we talk. It's usually when she calls me. It seems that I'm always busy with my kids or something and the days slip by. We get along fine but it is not at all what it used to be. Maybe I'll call her tonight. I talk with my sister more than her but we talk about different things other than the usual talks I have with my mom.

I know this doesn't help...I feel ya.

I call her about once every two weeks.

I think she's great. She's had a very hard life, but has stayed true to an even stronger faith. She passed that faith on to me, and I'll be forever grateful to her for that.

i dont really, but its not that i dont love her or anything, its that i havent got a phone!! I do miss her cooking though. You really appreciate it when you're living on sandwiches for breakfast lunch and dinner because you 1. cant afford anything more fancy and 2 cant be bothered to make anything more fancy!!
