Hi, if you're learning politeness expressions, check this site:
http://french.about.com/library/begin/bl_polite.htm

You'll find the French words, their meaning in English and audio files to learn the pronunciation!

Please = s'il vous plaît (formal) / s'il te plaît (familiar)
Thanks = merci
You're welcome = de rien
I'm sorry = je suis désolé (if you're a man) / je suis désolée (if you're a woman)

And much more... ;-)

"please"
If you're talking to just one person, whom you know very well, you will say: " s'il te plait"
If you're talking to several people or to someone you don't know very well or is older and you want to be polite you will say: "s'il vous plait"
Sorry
"excusez-moi" or "pardon"

"s'il vous plait" (seal voo play) = please
"je suis desolee" ( zh-uh ('j' in french + 's' in asian) swee (think sweet without the 't') day-zh-o-lay) = im sorry
or you could try other variations of sorry-type phrases:
"pardon" (pahre-don)= pardon
"je m'excuse" (zh-uh mex cues) = excuse me
