You can still be friends just don't kiss. That's more of a relationship thing than a friend thing. You might be jealous if he dates other people but that will go away with time. There's no sense in depriving yourself of a good friendship. Good luck.

You can still be friends but the whole friends with benefits thing needs to stop. Regardless of what you both say and how you think you will feel it will be hard when one of you finds someone new. Relationships like friends with benefits rarely work out for the best. If you really care about each other than either get back together or be strictly friends, not something in the middle.

You have answered this already - what will you do if you get hurt. Why put yourself in this situation if you feel this could be a problem. Maybe you should relook at the whole situation. Is it just becasue you do not want to see him with someone else or do you still have feelings. If there are still feelings, better sort them out now. Good luck. Dont hang on just becasue you think you will be lonely.

If you still love him, let him go, it would be painful for you to see him with someone else. If you both know that that you're never getting back together, you should stop that "friendship", you're stringing each other along and that's not fair. Make up your mind.

Listen to your heart, if you feel that you are just going to end up hurt then it's time to let it go. You will be much better off in the end.

Why are you giving up yourself to someone who you have already established it isn't going to work with? If it isn't going to work, then move on. Is your 'stuff' that insignificant that you don't ratione it out?
