Hi Moon!

Okay, here is the recipe for one of my very favorite pizza's; it's called Barbecue Chicken Pizza...

Pizza crust:

INGREDIENTS:

* 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
* 1 cup warm water
* 2 cups whole wheat flour
* 2 teaspoons dried basil, oregano, or Italian seasoning, crushed
* 1/4 cup wheat germ
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 tablespoon honey

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
3. In a large bowl combine flour, wheat germ and salt. Make a well in the middle and add honey and yeast mixture. Stir well to combine. Cover and set in a warm place to rise for a few minutes.
4. Roll dough on a floured pizza pan (I prefer a pizza stone), and poke a few holes in it with a fork.

To this, I spread my favorite barbeque sauce (in place of pizza sauce), then cover with grilled or baked skinless, boneless chicken breast (torn apart), cover with sliced sweet purple onion (or my favorite - Vidalia onions), then cover with Smoked Mozzarella Cheese (or any cheese that you prefer). Bake until crust edges are golden brown. Enjoy!! :)

Mix 50% barbque sauce with the pizza sauce. That takes away excessive tomatoeeeness. Cook shrimp, and chicken. When they're 3/4's done, drain them and add them to the usual pizza toppings before putting the pizza in the oven. You can get fresh dough in little bags from trader joes too. You'll get an awesome pizza with a touch of barbeque flavor. YUMMY AS FREAKIN HECK.

The truth is my husband is a better pizza maker than me, his recipe is fabulous.
My Pizza
Spread the dough out in the pan. Use a small paint brush to spread your pizza sauce. Add browned sausage, olives, onions, peppers, pepperoni, mozzerella cheese, bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Top lightly with jalepeno pepper seeds and parmesean cheese and serve.

Or for Hawaiian pizza use Canadian bacon and pineapple instead of sausage and pepperoni.

Yes! I used to work at Domino's, but perfected my own pizza recipe. Not all of the ingredients are made from scratch, though.

My kids are picky eaters and much prefer my pizza. It's easy to make but lengthy to describe. If you're really interested, email me at

and I will send a recipe just for you

Add some cheese to the dough when you are making the base, it is lovely!!
Also, try adding grapes or apples. But they take a while to cool down as they contain so much water.
If you have children then lay out a lot of fruit, veg and bits of ham, chicken and cut up sausages or cocktail sausages and let them decorate their own pizzas. It's great fun :-)
