Believe it or not, grapes. I dropped one once while I was eating some, and my dog went crazy. She played with it for like 15 mins, just knocking it around. Then she ate it, and came to me for more. Ever since, I give her grapes to play with and as treats.

My dog is high maintenance when we first brought it home we had treats for Petco he looked at them like they were a pile of dirt. So we ordered these brownie pup cakes off this site he loves them so much. He'd jump through a ring of fire just to get them. Its made with a special doggie chocolate. But he really cant tell the difference. https://healthyhoundbakery.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=35

Liver brownies!
Ground up liver in a blender; add one cup of flour, one cup of corn meal and one egg. Add minced garlic (many dogs love the smell/taste of garlic).
Pour batter into a pan and bake at approximately 350 for about 20 minutes or so. Watch to see when it browns. Let it cool. and serve up in small brownie bites.

My dogs are small ones, cheese makes them get very bad pains in their stomach that I have to take them to the vet for help - so of course I don't give them cheese now, but they love:
Raw carrot, melon, apple, damson plums, doggie biscuits, smackos, and a little tit-bit from us when we have finished our dinners.
I must try the liver brownies that one of your answerers makes, I think my dogs would love them.
