I clean it often, but after a few days the container starts to turn light green inside. I clean it and clean it, but it still returns. Does anyone know what I should do to prevent this from happening anymore?

If you keep the container somehwere where it isn't dark, the green is probably algae. Try keeping it in the dark and see what happens. Algae needs light to form.

Are you sure it's the container and not your water?? Have you replaced the Brita filter? You may need to have your water tested.

The truth is you need clorox clean-up. It comes in a spray bottle and it really cleans. The secret is to spray it on the inside, wait 15 seconds and rinse thoroughly. Be sure to rinse it really well.

It will look like brand new!

Try replacing the filter. Depending on the quality of your natural water, you may have to change the filter more often
