You have to figure out what you have to do with the lights, and then figure out your one question.

Turn on the second switch two times.
and so on.
Ask "How many times did the light come on?"

The question shld be: plz touch the lamp and tell me if its hot.
Have to turn on each of the light one at a time for 2 mins and call up the friend and ask the question. If he says its hot, then the lamp was turned on with the light u just switchd on.

Flip the first switch on and off 1 time, the 2nd two times the third 3 ect. ect. Call and ask the person how many times the lamp came on and off. their answer will be which switch turns it on and off.
I know, he beat me by 53 seconds, oh well, that's life. When I started typing there were only 2 answers, guess I need to learn to type faster. Good riddle btw, took several min to figure it out.

the respond is ; A Snake. because of the "scorching", (the hissing sound they make . ) Snakes have backbones, yet no legs. Their pores and skin peels. (: yet they don't wreck, they stay entire with the clean new pores and skin . Snakes could be very long yet are very slender & slender . SO it quite is a SNAKE! :D
