I personally, am afraid of clowns, but if all the children 'flock' to your house, then maybe they like them. Either way you did say entertain. As long as their parents know I think that would be fun. You just seem like someone who loves to have fun and interact with kids, that's not a sin nor is it bad. Keep it up! Though... no offense.. hope you're a good person though.

A little bit, yes. Make sure that the parents are invited and somebody is there with you, if the parents don't come. That way you are covered from accusations. Maybe you should do the clown show in the yard.

Only if your doing it unchaperoned.
Even if it's innocently done with no other motive, you owe it to the other children's parents and ease of mind.
CYA ....
Remember , it only takes an accusation to ruin your whole life, and children can have a nasty and vivid imagination.
Protect the Children,Yourself and your Community.
Never perform with out witnesses in an appropriate setting.
HAVE FUN.....

Yes its weird, just as weird as taking your 9yr old neighbor camping. If you want to entertain the kids in your neighborhood fine, do it in the front yard, with other adults present.

What's wrong with entertaining them in your yard ??

Not if you want to be investigated by the police and other child protection agencies. Maybe it would be a good idea to propopse it to the neighbors so as to raise their red flags.
Obviously you're joking.

no it's not wrong but for everyone's piece of mind why not do it in the back yard where the parents of the children can see that everything is on the up and up.

It actually depends on if you are BOBO the clown or "IT" the clown. I really don't remember BOBO being in a basement.
