I am not particularly fond of either car, But I am a Chevy girl(when growing up that's all that my parents would buy)..but I do think that if both cars had the same horse power, the Ford Mustang would give the Monte Carlo a run for its money..

It really depends on how much you want to spend on gas, if you dont want to spend that much your better off with a chevy monte carlo ss, not the mustang gt, but for the sporty look the mustang is better, so it all depends on your taste for money or style. I personally love the mustang! all the way, its my dream car, but not for 2006, gas prices are too high! good luck!

The Mustang will have a better resale value, so I would go with that. Get the convertible though, it is sharper than the coupe!

i own a repair shop, and your choice of the Monte Carlo is a real good one their actually really nice cars to own,the newer ones are also dependable ,and the newer body style really looks good also, one good thing about the Monte ,is you can get all the options you want on this car, from what i under stand about this years model it offers more than it has in the past,so that makes it more of a good choice for a car,,from what i have seem of them their nice, i haven't had the pleasure of driving one yet,but hope to real soon, but that choice you made is a good one,,i hope this help,s,good luck with it.

Neither! Invest your hard earned money on a Honda, Toyota, Lexus,Acura or something that will hold it's value better and after 4 years won't rattle ,leak fluids and start to disintegrate!
