caramel colored streaks or red streaks?
I don't have a long forehead, but should I get side sweep bangs?
And just a hair style you can do with hair that is short and layered!

for SURE do the caramel streaks, no red streaks. with your coloring being on the dark side the red will look too orangey.

and yes, get the heavy, sideswept bangs, they are so in style now and look great on almost anyone. I would also have your hair razor cut, the effect is so cute, it's wispy looking and very modern. razor cut especially around the face area.

Hope you love you new look!

I say the caramel streaks. Red can be too dark and not show up very well. Go with the side-sweep bangs. Just remember, when they grow out, they can be a pain!

well my hair is red and when I had streaks put in, they put in brown and blonde and it looked good! Depending on the red, I'd go with an auburn which will blend very nicely. I'd also go with the side sweep bangs. There's a website where you can put in your picture and change colors and styles but it will cost you. I tried it. I'd go caramel. It looks beautiful with darker skin and you can go as little or much as you dare.

Side swept bangs are hot if you have the right face shape. Ask your stylist for her advice. Stick with longish layers and maybe undercut a little in the back, unless you want to go for that "every layer is stick straight look."

It depends on what look you are going for. I would say caramel highlights since they are more natural. I love the side-swept bangs, however, they can be a pain and you will always be wiping them out of your eyes! Talk to the colorist and stylist before you get the treatments and they can help you!

Side swept bangs, definitely! And I'd say red or blue highlights. Like dark shades though, not bright ones.

I'm not too great with hair cuts, but i DO know that red highlights are impossible to keep up with and they look tacky after 2 weeks. Go with caramel highlights, they will last longer and you won't look like trailer trash.

I have dark brown hair and it looks great with 2 different color highlights...blonde and caramel!! That's what I would recommend :)

Your characteristics sound SOOOOO like mine. Are you sure you don't have a twin living in Texas? And I think that streaks are kind of OUT. Sorry, my opinion.
