Margaritas NOT included in consideration here - is it "unmanly" for guys to drink mixed drinks???

Are margaritas somehow more manly?
Mixed drinks are fine. Gin and tonic. Bourbon and soda. Martini. No problem with these.
I think what you are getting at are the girly drinks like cosmos or something with an umbrella in it. If you are a guy and drinking something with an umbrella it in, you had better be on a beach. Otherwise, I'd say it's a bit girlish.

Beer for taste, mixed drinks for buzzzzzzzzzzzzz. It's that damn simple! I LOVE micro brew but if I want a quick buzz I'll do a 12 oz. Stoli orange and a can of deit 7-up. Half and half baby. Diet pop wont give you the stomach ache regular will. Crown with a Sam Adams back is my favorite way to go.

Jack and Coke, Beam and Coke, redbull vodka...all very manly drinks. What is unmanly is when the drink is pink and sweet or has midori and coconut rum and more fruit garnish than the chiquita banana lady. So, yes it is unmanly, but wait, homos are men too so I guess it isn't.

a man can drink anything as long as it's either black/brown colored, golden, or clear. absolutely no umbrellas. only olive or cocktail onions allowed in the drink, as well as the occasional worm. the only exception to the color rule is the brutal hammer which is 4 oz red wine and 6 oz vodka. killer drink.

it is only unmanly if you drink drinks that have more than two items in it no sex at the beach or pink umbrella drinks

mixed drinks and cocktails all the way ...many more varities of tastes and flavors to choose among ..beer has its place but i like real alcohol
