No. its the cowardice in practice. Men are just way to afraid that the reaction will be spontaneous and very dangerous one. They won't be able to control the situation if it gets out of hand. They are afraid of the drama and the Jerry Springer team showing up at the doorstep. They don't want to be emotionally blackmailed. Men always know that they are being crappy but they can't help it and will do this anyway.

men hate to see us cry. most men would rather have an arm cut off than break up with someone. I once dated this guy for 3 months. I thought everything was great. Then he just quit returning my phone calls. Never heard from him again. It really hurt b/c I didn't deserve to be treated that way. Months later I saw him and he apologized and told me that he knew it was crappy of him and that he'd been having anxiety attacks and just wanted to be alone, but that he didn't want to tell me and was afraid I would get upset and cry when he broke it off, so that's why he just didn't call me. So, sometime there's a good reason, but still the bottom line, they are cowards afraid to see us cry.
