Grandfather, father , son the two fathers would be the grandfather and father. The two sons would be the father and son. Each got a fish so there were three fishes. Nice riddle....I liked it.

It was the grandfather, the father, and his son (grandson). They each caught a fish. The grandfather and father are both dads. the father and son are both sons.
