I met and went out with a guy a couple time a few weeks ago and we talk every night, He suggested we go to a movie sometime. That sounded ok but then he mentioned going to a matinee. I know that is the cheapest time o fthe day or something which is ok if you can do that but with my schedule and his schedule being different, it is difficult and I am still waiting for him to ask. He works m-f till 5 and is off on weekends whereas I work sat and sun from 2 oclock or so and am off a couple days a week. Howver by the time he gets off during the week it is too late for the matinee and I think he is waiting for me to be off on a saturday or sunday which isn't going to happen any time soon. I think it is extreemly cheap of him to put off a date to save 4 dollars total on two tickets. I am sitting home tonight off from work and he is off in an hour or so and we could go tonight but he hasn't mentioned it and I presume that is the reason. I think that is really cheap of him.

Yes it is!

move on and find someone who wants to go out with you no matter how much it costs or what time it is.

I've dated many guys, and my boyfriend now is different from all the other guys, which is why he's my boyfriend. First, we met at a bar, he didn't try to get in my pants. He called me the next night for a date. Most guys play hard to get and wait to call. Not this guy, he liked me and was excited about it. It was nice. Our date was fun and then he called me the next night. My point is, when a guy likes you, he takes you out, no matter the cost. Plus he'll call you and he'll want to see you everyday. That first week I met him we had 4 dates. 4 dates in one week. I'm still with him and it's only gotten better. Just look for someone who does give you what you want. It's out there, you just have to sift through the sea to find him.

That is a very lame excuse, I know you might not want to do it, but just ask him what the deal is....if that is the only reason he's not going out with you, then you deserve better anyway, so get rid of him.
