i take showers everyday and halfway into the day it starts to get greasy. i dont touch it with my hands, so its not the grease on my hands, and i use the shampoo that reduses it, but it still does it. i also have a little bit of wave at the bottom of my hair, if i got my hair thinned out what would it do?

You can put talcum powder on your hair brush and the brush your hair. Thats what I read in a magazine. Hope it helps!!

Taking some of the weight often helps. Another thing that helps is putting baby powder into the roots of your hair, it takes care of the grease for the short term. I might also suggest changing your shampoo every once in a while, even if you go back to the original shampoo after a week or so. My hair occasionally gets too accustomed to my shampoo and becomes too greasy, but changing shampoo for a short period of time helps it to accept my normal shampoo. You also may be using too much conditioner and not washing it all out, which can be a cause of grease.

Wash your hair with a volumizing shampoo. Some of the best I've used are:

Samy Volume Shampoo
Garnier Fructis Body and Volume

Wash your hair two or three times in the shower and be sure to scrub really good.

Do not wash your hair everyday, chances are pretty good that's what's doing it. Most shampoos contain sulfates (most likely the top ingredient). These are cleaning agents found in stuff like comet! So using them daily is going to strip your hair. When your hair gets too dry it will freak and produce extra oil causing too much oil.

It will be tough to do at first but try washing your hair at the very most every other day. I wash mine twice a week. It's much healthier for your hair too. The natural oils in your scalp are better than any hair treatment out their to nourish and streghten your hair.
