Why is still not possible to do any eyes surgery in animals (dog & cats specially), for example: myopia laser surgery?

Thanks for answering! I was just asking because my neighbor has a dog that is losing sight and she told me that vets don't perform eyes surgery in dogs.
Thanks for proving her wrong.

not a vet, but i have hread that there is a type of laser eye surgery for dogs (i.e. dogs with cattaracs)

At the Vet University Hospitals they do canine eye surgery all the time!!!

call some vets, animal hospitals, and ask around if you're concerned about the price..
