You need to establish a better option, one that will work. Make sure he won't stalk you or try anything stupid. Decide on what you need to do, and do it before he gets worse. i found that the easiest and less painful way to leave someone is to just pack up everything that you want(if you live together) and just go, leave a letter explaining it wasnt working and that it is over, and you think it would be best to have absolutely no contact to leave it as it is. if your not living together, makes it a lot more easier, just tell them that your growing apart and going seperate ways. hope this helps

Gee, I dunno. I see a real problem with your question. I think that you may have an issue that you need to resolve with him/her prior to your leaving. It depends on whether you really want to leave or whether you just want them to stop being an ***. If you can't see yourself with them for the rest of your life then you have the problem. If you want them to be your friend then just tell them that you'd like to see a counselor. If you think its easy to leave your wrong. But if you really want to leave then make a plan and set it in motion when you know what you want.
