When you have a filling it, naturally, is no longer the same shape as your tooth was before hand. The dentist always checks your bite before you go home, and usually when you leave the filling probably feels fins.

However, your mouth has an adjustment period after a filling where you teeth may readjust to fit the new filling better. So, your teeth are actually shifting a miniscule amount. This is perfectly normal to have happen.

Unfortunately for you this happens more frequently than not -- but rest assured it is a perfectly normal thing!
