I would ask for a current picture, I dated on line and would meet these terrific ladies, only to be let down later when I'd meet them.
A keyboard can transcend any personality you conjure up and can hide the warts. However I have met some real nice ones too, If he's reluctant to post a picture, you should beware of the of the bad wolf.

you can't be sure about anyone until you meet them and spend time with them. It has been my experiance that people have two sides, the side they show to you and the side they keep to themselves. So you ask, "how do you know that you really like someone?", and I say" you can't". If you see the person and know the person,then you can decide for yourself.

until you meet them you really do not know them..people can be deceiving you know..it helps to look them in the eye and get to know them in person
