the only avacados I was able to buy were rock hard. I have put them through the food processor and it just isn't guacamole consistency. what can I do to fix this?

Add yogurt or sour cream to the guacamole (mayo will work in a picnh, but just a little as the taste will carry through).

There isn't much you can do.
Next time when you have unripe avocados wrap them in an old newspaper and put them in a cool dark place until they are nice and soft. Check at least once a day, because it can happen fast.

If you're not going to eat it right away allow it to sit in the fidge over night and it will soften up

add a little cottage cheese (sounds gross, but it really is delicious!) Instant guac consistency!
